OpenP2M is a software that lets you store and share files by means of your email account. This is known as PDM, "peer to mail". PDM is similar to P2P protocol, but using the mail server as mediator.
These are some of its key features:
- Support for proxy servers
- Ability to split and merge large files
- RSA 512 bits cryptography protection
- Option to turn off PC after download finishes
- Allows to download simultaneously to several e-mail mailboxes
- Saves list of files already downloaded to avoid downloading them again
- Option to open some file types after downloading them (MP3, TXT, EXE)
- Error detection: it automatically downloads restarts the download of the erroneus bit
